You do not have to give up competitive lacrosse to attend Northern Arizona University. NAU Women’s Lacrosse Club competes in WWLL Division 2 South with a full coaching staff and a student board supporting club operations.
We are especially interested in hearing from experienced high-school and club players who want to help strengthen the program. Reaching out early lets us learn your game and gives you a team connection while you explore NAU.

Future recruit play days
Future play days may give prospective players a chance to experience the program, meet team representatives, and learn more about club lacrosse and campus life. Dates, format, eligibility, and capacity will be posted only after they are confirmed.

Yes. Current NAU students may introduce themselves at any point. Experienced players are especially encouraged to connect, and newer players who are ready to learn, work, and be strong teammates may also reach out.
Yes. High-school and club lacrosse players may introduce themselves while they are still exploring colleges, before applying, or while an NAU application is in progress.
Yes. Eligible NAU graduate students may participate in Sport Clubs, and the WCLA removed its four-year participation cap for the 2026 season. Former NCAA players may be eligible if they meet current NAU, WCLA, WWLL, enrollment, academic, and roster requirements. Contact the team for an eligibility review; graduate admission and team participation are separate processes.
Previous high-school, club, or college experience is valuable as the program builds a competitive roster, but it is not required to start a conversation with the team.
No. Club interest and university admission are separate. Contacting the team does not influence admission, replace an NAU application, or guarantee a roster position.
Future recruit play days and visit opportunities will be announced when dates are confirmed. Submit an introduction to be considered for updates; no attendance or roster outcome is guaranteed.
